Barney & Barney Principal Trindl Reeves Named as one of San Diego Business Journal's "Women Who Mean Business"

Reeves' contributions to the business community and women's initiatives are recognized
San Diego, CA, November 18, 2011 - Trindl Reeves, a Principal with Barney & Barney LLC, was named as one of San Diego Business Journal’s "Women Who Mean Business." Reeves, who has been a Principal with the century old firm since joining in 2006, has been a key component of the firm’s growth and is responsible for leading the firm’s company-wide sales effort. In 2010, she was made Chief Sales Officer by the insurance brokerage’s ownership team.

In 2008, Reeves helped to launch Barney & Barney’s highly successful Request for Proposal response program. By consolidating and streamlining the process, the firm has gained numerous new clients. She is also one of the founders of B&B GROW, a women’s initiative focused on attracting, retaining, educating and supporting the women of Barney & Barney.

Trindl has paved the way for women in business through B&B GROW’s mentorship, keynote speaker series, educational symposiums, social events, and small groups to foster knowledge sharing. Trindl is actively involved on the boards and committees of several local organizations, such as CONNECT, BIOCOM and the Financial Executive’s International. She serves as the past President of the San Diego Venture Group and is a Board Member of the Economic Development Corporation. Through her active participation with these organizations, Trindl plays an influential role in the development of both San Diego’s business and civic communities.
Trindl Reeves started her career in the insurance industry over 20 years ago. Prior to joining Barney & Barney in 2006 as a Principal in the Commercial Department, she served as Managing Director of Marsh San Diego. She held numerous leadership positions during her tenure with Marsh.
Trindl earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and holds the professional designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI).
